Easter 2009

Our Cheesy kids.

Chloe with a purple flower on her cheek.

Caleb the rabbit.

These are pictures from the Easter Egg Hunt at our church on Saturday. Grandma Patti, Papa Mark and Papa Klus (the kids great-grandpa) go to church with us there and came to watch the big Easter Egg Hunt. I can't even begin to tell you how many kids were involved. They broke it down by age but only did 2 years at a time (ie. 0-2, 3-4, 5-6) We had Chloe and Caleb do it together so we could get pictures of both of them. This year they hid a lot, and they were in the foresty area behind the church. Lots of fun for the kids. Caleb liked looking at the Easter baskets everyone had. One little boy had a race car basket--Caleb really liked that one.

I forgot to take pictures on Easter Day, so I will try to sit the 2 kids down one day soon and get some of them smiling.
Hope you all had a wonderful Easter.

The Zoo

My sister Michelle came out for a visit from Tennessee. So we took her for her first trip to the Oregon Zoo. It ended up being perfect weather. My cousin Stacey and her daughter Brooke came up from Eugene and joined us for the trip. As you will see in many of the pictures the kids were very busy looking at the exhibits and it was pretty much impossible to get one of all three of them looking at the camera--so there are lots of their backsides. It was alot of fun and the kids did great. We got there about 9:30am and didn't leave until 1:45pm. They all crashed out in the car within a few minutes of leaving. Yeah.

This is the closest to a group shot that I could get with everyone looking toward the camera. The kids were making animal tracks in the sand.

Brooke and Caleb the cowboys (cowpeople pc and all). YeeHaw.

Stacey with Caleb, Brooke and Chloe checking out the Elephants.

swinging like monkeys

Tired kiddos trying to look cool with mama.

The Rhino. We never see the Rhino moving around but he was out today.

Chloe and Brooke giving a hug goodbye as we head for the exit. I tried to get a picture of Caleb and Brooke too but the hug was so fast I got a picture of the ground.

Yeah Sunny Weather!!!

Caleb and Chloe getting caught trying to get into the tool shed. I love Chloe's hands on face like UHHHHH.

Auntie Michelle came to visit from Tennessee. She had lots of fun pushing Caleb on the swing.

Here's a couple pictures of the kids having some fun in our backyard. The sun finally came out and they were actually able to wear shorts.
