The Tooth Fairy's coming again

After what seems like a month of lots of wiggling, Chloe's top front big tooth finally came out tonight. It's lost tooth #3 for Chloe but this one seems so much bigger than the 2 bottom ones she lost. And man did it leave a gaping hole!

Today there was a lot of wiggling and tears. She was very nervous about this one coming out. We each took turns trying all day, and finally after books tonight I said "just let me try 2 more times." She says "I'll try first". She tried once, nothing. Then I tried and twisted ever so slightly and out it popped. She started laughing and smiling. I said "did it hurt?" She said "nope, it didn't hurt at all!"

Spring Break FUN

This year for Spring Break we went to Great Wolf Lodge up in Washington. We knew we would be spending lots of time in the waterpark, but we also got to go on a Quest. It's hard to believe but in only 2 1/2 days we went on 11 Quests (the kids, with our help) to become Master Maji. As well as swimming at least once a day. The waterpark had a huge wave pool, kiddie area, 3 large slides and 2 smaller slides as well as a toadstool bridge to cross on the water.

Caleb's favorite area was the wavepool, especially when the waves stopped because he could swim without being moved around too much. Chloe's favorite area was River Canyon Run- one of the "big kid" slides. You had to be 42" to ride with an adult.

There was also something called MagicQuest. The kids got wands and followed clues on a scavenger hunt up and down the stairs and through the resort. It kept them busy and moving all day! There were 11 different Quests that they completed then they completed 3 Adventures to finish and get a certificate. While on the Quest we went up and down the stairs so many times we lost count. After the first day Chloe and I only took the inner staircase, as the main lobby one had a giant Black Bear. If the Maji (Caleb or any other kid) pointed their wand at the Bear it's eyes would glow orange and it would talk in a deep voice. Chloe was not a fan. She would shut her eyes and try to walk down the stairs. After the first time I figured it was a lot easier to guide her by holding her hand, or the 2 of us would just go to the other stairs. It was lots of fun with most of the kids in the resort involved in the MagicQuest.

Circus

The circus came to town for a quick stop. Grandma Patti was able to get free kid tickets and join us. It was a lot of fun. Tigers, Camels, horses, dogs, elephants and acrobats were plenty. Also a really awesome motorcycle show, 4 motorcycles riding in a circle inside a huge ball. It was a little too far away for me to get a picture but it was cool.

Monkey's in a tree

Finally a clear, almost sunny day. The neighbor kids headed over to hang out. They rode bikes for a little while, then ended up climbing all of the different trees in our front yard. Then Caleb & Jeremiah decided to have a battle with the girls. They headed across the street to creat a barricade, and Chris helped the girls create one in our garage. Fun was had by all!

The new Curious George exhibit opened at the Children's Museum, we waited and went on a weekend so we could enjoy it as a family. The kids had so much fun. And I really liked the exhibit, it was one of their best. The kids were busy playing for at least an hour in the area, which rarely happens.
