Beaver Games

While our beloved Beaver football team may not be off to the greatest start..it has definitely been a fun season for our friends and family at the games. Here's a few pictures of tailgating, kids playing and seeing the most favorite person at the game Benny Beaver.

Aren't they just too darn cute. I love when they act nice to each other, it makes all those other times melt away for a few moments.

Tailgating at mom and dad's spot.

Chloe, Caleb and their friend Scott trying to get Benny's attention. (Oh and of course Chloe and Caleb trying to grab Benny's tale.)

And last but not least the amazing dance stylings of Mr. Caleb Bartlett. Every time a song came over the loud speaker during the last game, Caleb would hop up onto the bleacher and start bustin' a move.

Miss Chloe Dancing Queen

Chloe loves to dance and twirl around. If you ask her what she wants to be when she grows up she says "A Ballet Teacher"..so I thought maybe she should actually take a dance class to see what it's all about. She's in a class called Lots O Dance. It exposes kids to Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Modern all kinds of dance.

We got to sit in on the first day. So here are a few pictures of Chloe "dancing".
I have no idea what they were supposed to be doing here, but Chloe is obviously doing her own thing!!

Belly Bumping.

Leg kick backs. You can definitely tell that Chloe is one of the older kids in the class because she has a lot better balance on one leg then most of the others.

The ZOO

So all summer we have been patiently waiting the arrival of the Lions at the Zoo. Finally the middle of Sept. the new exhibit opened. We chose a perfect day to go, nice weather and most kids in school. :- ) And a lot of the animals were out and about more than we have ever seen before in our many trips to the Zoo.

The new exhibit has Lions, Cheetahs, African Wild Dogs and a few other things. Plus it has a lot of hands on stuff for the kids to play with. There are phones they can pick up to listen to what the animals sound like, climb rocks like mountains and ride in a jeep that is built into the Cheetah window--just like they are going on their very own Safari. Oh and they have huge amazing windows in all of the exhibits. The Cheetahs came right up next to the windows. So cool. Hopefully next time we go the Lions will too!!

First Day of Preschool

Tuesday was the first day of Preschool for Chloe and Meet Your Teacher Day for Caleb. This year they both get to have full size backpacks, which they are just thrilled with. They want to take them everywhere. I let each of them pick out their own, and told them they have to last for 3 years. (we'll see!!) Caleb picked Transformers, of course, his new favorite thing. Chloe picked CareBears, so I had to do some searching around but finally found one.

So this is the first year that both kids will be in school for at least 2 days. Caleb tu/th, Chloe tu/wed/thur. I get 2 1/2 hours 2 days a week to do stuff all by myself. My big plans so far are to run errands, or workout outside.

Here's a couple of pictures of the kids on their first day. Hope everyone else is having a good start to the school year as well.
