SNOW!

After the weather people on every channel in the area reporting on the "February Blast" that was coming for a week, we finally got some Wednesday night. Since it was icy underneath the whole 1 inch that we got almost every school district in the area closed. We headed out to play in it early. Headed up to Chloe's school, no other kids in sight? So we decided to start rolling balls to make a snowman. By the time we were done making the snowman the neighbors showed up and Chloe and Caleb had fun on the swings and sliding down the slides super fast on snow. We were only there for about 1 1/2 hours, and by the time we were heading home most of the snow was melted. Good thing we headed out early :- )
Oh and Chris got to stay home and spend probably the only snow day of the year with us. Fun was had by all!

Sunshine & Bikes

Finally a sunny day after lots of rain! The kids headed out front to ride their bikes. Hopefully we will have some more sunny days to get some practice in. Our goal is to try and get those kids riding without training wheels this summer. I think Caleb could probably do it, but Chloe needs a little more practice with the training wheels first.

Chloe Digging for Dinosaurs

For Valentine's Day Papa Klus got Chloe a dinosaur egg. (not a real one, but one that she gets to dig in for dinosaur bones) Chloe has loved Dinosaurs for as long as I can remember. She's had lots of fun with this, we still have a little ways to go with digging our fossils but once we get them all uncovered we get to put them together. I will post the finished project once we are all done.
