1st Day of School

Wow, I can't believe it, Chloe is in 1st grade this year and Caleb is a Kindergartener! That means school everyday for Caleb, and a full day for Chloe!

This summer Chloe and Caleb finally passed level B! Yippee! They were in level C for one session and then moved on to level D! Level D is where they are learning side breathing and backstroke. Tough stuff, and on top of that you have to remember to kick your feet! :- )

The Oregon Coast

A couple times a year my cousin Stacey and I try to get together with our kids. Her daughter Brooke is right between Chloe & Caleb in age. This year for our summer get together we decided to meet up in Newport at the Oregon Coast Aquarium, stay the night at a friends place and then have some fun on the beach.

The kids had a great time and so did we. Looking forward to our next adventure!

My Birthday- 34 this year!

I love that most of our friends have kids and that the kids all get along really well. We had a BBQ in our backyard to celebrate my birthday. The kids played chase and had water fights. Lots of fun was had by all, then of course it was time for the ice cream cake! YUM!

Soccer

Caleb is playing soccer this year. He was so excited for his first day. And Chloe is very excited to be cheering for him on the sidelines!

Safety Town

The kids were both at the right age this year to take Safety Town together. They learned all about bike, water, fire and stranger safety. And they had the added bonus of having their friend Fergus in the same session they were in.
