Chris is off this week. Shutdown at work. So his big project is making Caleb a Speed Racer Bed. Saturday Chris got a picture of the Mach 5 (speedracer car) and made some measurements. Sunday we all went to Home Depot to get the wood. Then most of Monday he spent drawing out the car on the wood then cutting it out. Today he is still working on cutting it out but it's the little stuff now. If you know Chris he wants it to look really good so he's taking his time. He's routering? the wheel. I will try to get pictures along the way, and hopefully have a picture of the finished car bed by the end of the week.
Then the big question is......will Caleb actually sleep in the bed? And if so will he make it all night??

Chris is trying to perfect the #5 on the side of the car--ya know the finishing touches!!!
We still need to go get a mattress too. I was too late getting the Speed Racer bedding, and had to get it on ebay so it will be here later this week. Wish us luck on him staying in the bed!!!
