Bike Riding

So Chloe isn't really all that in to riding her bike, but yesterday she saw some neighbors out on their bikes and decided she wanted to go out too. She lasted about 5 min. Then Chris and Caleb got home from the auto show and they decided to ride bikes. Caleb and Chris rode up to the elementary school by us. Chloe had me put her bike in the car to drive her up there.

Once we got to the school I made her ride it from the car to the playground- then she parked it. Caleb on the other hand was racing the big kids on his bike. These kids looked like they were twice his size. They would get to the finish line and be turning around and Caleb was yelling "Hey wait for me". THen it turned into running after each other all over the playground. Chloe joined in, and after a while the kids got back on their bikes and Chloe did too. She finally was riding all over the playground with the other kids and Caleb. I think it really helped with her confidence on her bike. She even rode her bike home with Chris. It's only like .25 miles, but there is a really big hill that they had to go up, and then down. She did a great job using her brakes and made it home without falling off the bike. That's a huge deal for her!!!

Now maybe if the weather improves and we get a little more sunshine she will be willing to practice in front of the house.
