I'm proud of myself. I ran the whole 13.1 miles. (I did do a potty stop just before mile 3, but it was quick, maybe only a minute--all those years of swimming and running to the bathroom paid off!!!) I finished in 2hrs 7min and 12sec. So that is 9:45 pace. Better than I thought I would do. I'm hoping to get some more pictures from my mom's camera. Until then here are mine.

Me before the race at my parents. A little out of focus, but hey I'm not complaining it was like 6am. Hopefully the one from my parents camera is better.

These are pics. of me on the Knickerbocker Bridge and coming down off of it. It was a good thing I was wearing my Oregon State orange shirt so they could spot me easily!!!

Just after Knickerbocker bridge. The kids, Chris, my dad, cousin Stacey and her daughter Brooke were all there cheering me on. In this pic. I was getting ready to high five Chloe. (right before mile 11)

Me in my parents hot tub after the race. Nice and warm, but not very relaxing with Brooke, Chloe and Caleb all trying to splash me while I sat there soaking.

Congratulations!!! Great job. Are you going to eventually do a full one?
No I don't think so. I think 13.1 miles was enough. Who knows though. It took me 3 days to recuperate from the 1/2.
