Mother's Day

Well my Mother's Day celebration started on Saturday. It's opening day of the Beaverton Farmer's Market. I'll be honest, we don't really go for the fresh fruits and vegetables. We go for the yummy Belgian waffles with strawberries and whip cream, and the giant Cowboy cookies. My favorite. And the kids love to listen to the music of whatever band or singer are performing.

This year there was even a balloon man. So each of the kids got balloon swords and play fought all around the grass. They even went after any other kid nearby with a sword or balloon animal. It was great.

And on Sunday we had a BBQ at our house and then headed to family for dessert. We are truly blessed to have so much family nearby. The kids love going and seeing all Chris's aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents.

Thanks. I'm actually thinking about going in and getting more highlights so you can actually tell I have them. I went really light because I hadn't had my hair colored in so long. But I was definitely ready for the change!!!
